St. Michael's Church, also called "Michel" for short, is one of Hamburg's landmarks with its striking architecture.

The church tower is 132 meters high, and at 106 meters there is a viewing platform with a wonderful panoramic view of the harbor and the city. The platform can be climbed over 452 steps or by elevator.

Michel's tower clock is the largest church tower clock in Germany. The large pointer is 4.95 m long, the small one is 3.65 m long. The dial has a diameter of 8 m.
